GIP and cardiologist appointment
Feb. 1st, 2006 04:37 pmSeriously....this icon is love!!!
Finally had my cardiologist appointment today...apparently what's causing the palpitations is probably something benign, because otherwise everything is normal, but I still have to go for a echocardiogram, exercise stress test and wear a monitor for two weeks. Joy. This is also all happening in three seperate appointments. More joy. Apparently what he thinks is wrong with me is a) sinus tachycardia or b) some problem with the re-entry of the signal. Neither of which is really harmful, just a nuiscance. But the cardiologist is doing the tests to find out what is wrong for sure.
I had to have another ECG done and had the doctor pushing on my chest and such. Such fun! Also I got to wear a paper poncho type thing. I was styling. Cloth gowns are so passe.
ETA: Happy belated B-day

Date: 2006-02-02 12:32 am (UTC)I've had the 24 hour monitor before...but I didn't have a palpitation while wearing it (of course) so longer monitoring is required!
